Toronto-born, Brampton-raised Jas came to Investor Economics as a Winter 2015 co-op student from Wilfrid Laurier University, majoring in accounting and minoring in economics. He must have made a strong impression, as he started as a full-time member of the asset management team in September, 2015. Jas is responsible for institutional and retail money manager research, along with movements in the sub-advisory industry and contributes to the Managed Money Advisory Service. He teaches karate and holds a second dan. Jas has recently returned from a six-country tour of Europe and is active in Right to Play, an organization that raises money to provide underprivileged children with greater access to sports and recreation programs worldwide.
