A Historic RRSP Season Kicks Off the Year

The Canadian investment funds industry ended the first quarter of 2021 on a high note as optimistic investors bought into funds at a record pace, against the backdrop of a recovering global economy. Unlike the prior year, the all-important 2021 RRSP season surpassed all expectations in terms of volumes and directionality of new flows. The high tide lifted most boats, more than ever recorded in any first quarter.
