Fund sales: Weak, but improving
After several years of record sales, mutual fund inflows came to a proverbial halt in 2018, which ranked as the worst selling year in a decade. Following this precarious result, the 2019 sales campaign is drawing to an end with improved results (both in terms of asset growth and inflows) when compared to the previous year but remains relatively low by historical standards.
